Lenovo is awesome
After seeing and using this machine, I am so glad I purchased one. It's slick and ultra portable (I'll post some pictures later). The X60 is a LOT more responsive than any other tablet I have used and the screen is brighter also.
And as I checked my email this morning, I found that my new tablet X60 will arrive tommorow! I will be leaving tommorow night, so I will defiently have it for my trip!! YES! Thanks to Tim Supples, Jim McDonald, and Steven Mclane of Lenovo for all working together to help me get my tablet on time and getting a loaner out just incase! They kept in contact via telephone and personally took care of my order (try getting that somehwere else...).

A new update!
What other company would give you this kind of service and attention? -- sounds like they really care about their customers -- I am glad I went with a Lenovo -- the people there naturally seem to care for their clients.
Thanks!
Lenovo
P.S regarding my previous post, they dont post any charges on your CC until the item has shipped, and "In Process" in your order status means that it is being built.

An Update
-Haven't heard from Tim.
-Lenovo said they are looking into my order (I called them and explained the situation)
-Told me to wait a day or two before I cancel my order
-Nothing has updated on my order status page.
What's going on??

Wow -- someone at Lenovo emailed me.
Hello,
I saw your post on our blog and wanted to see what I could do to help. If you can send me your order and customer number, I can look into your post and hopefully see what the cause for the delay is. Thanks for bearing with us!

Pretty cool, eh?
That's great customer service in my opinion. From my experience with other large companies, you really don't get that kind of attention.
This is my first time doing business with Lenovo.
I explained to him my situation and gave him the information he needed.
Well, good night.

Uh oh! Shipping date too late for me?
I definetly need a tablet PC before I leave as I need to take it with me!
Not sure what I should do. I contacted Lenovo by email early this morning, but have not heard from that yet. My friends suggest I cancel the order for the X60 and go to Best Buy and purchase the Gateway Tablet because it has what I need. Plus it is about $400 cheaper, has the same features, a CD/DVD drive (Which I do not care too much about though), and its only a little bit heavier, BUT it has a 16:9 aspect ratio. I really liked the X60 though.
Not sure what I should do.
My confrimation email...yeah!
The first time I hit "Submit Order, " I got "This Page Cannot be Displayed." Got scared for a few seconds, wondering if I would be charged twice. But then after a few minutes I realized I recieved no confirmation email, so I was assuming it did not get through, so I tried again---and success!
Just got my confitmation email from Lenovo:

Can't wait...!
Notice of future purchasers.
A tip on future X60 purchasers:
What I found out right before I purchased the unit is that NOT ALL MODELS have the touchscreen feature. Make sure you read through all 5 of the different x60 Tablet models.
